HOLLAND TOWNSHIP, Mich. — The Walmart Supercenter in Holland received a bomb threat late Saturday night.
Around 9:30 p.m. a caller to Walmart told an employee they had a bomb strapped to their chest and then hung up, the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Department said.
Deputies later found out minors made up the story and called in the prank.
The store was given an ‘all clear’ by around 11:30 p.m., said a spokesperson for the company.
According to reps, when a Walmart store receives a bomb threat, local police are called and procedures for that jurisdiction are followed.
