The Humane Society of West Michigan assists over 11,000 animals annually. We are 100% donor-funded! We receive no funding from the government or national animal welfare organizations.
Adoption Fee:
Puppies (Up to 5 months): $300.00 - includes a puppy class here at HSWM.
Dogs (5 months and older): $175.00
Senior Dogs (7 years and older): Fee waived or reduced *
Includes:
- Spay/Neuter Surgery
- A Physical Exam by our Staff Veterinarian
- Behavior Assessment by our Animal Behavior Specialist
- A Negative Test for Heartworm Disease (if 6 months or older)
- A First Series of Vaccines Including:
- DHLPP(Distemper Combo)
- Bordetella (Kennel Cough) Vaccine
- Rabies (if older than 14 weeks of age)
- Treatment for Internal Parasites
- Initial Dose of Advantage® Flea Preventative
- Initial Dose of Interceptor® Heartworm and Parasite Preventative
- Microchipping
*Fee may be waived or reduced if member of Silver Paws Society and depending on grant funding for this program.
