OTSEGO, Mich. — The city of Otsego has issued an alert to its residents about frozen water pipes.
Thursday evening, the southern Allegan County city sent out the following warning:
“The City is experiencing many frozen water services. If you are on West Franklin- West Morrell – West Hammond – West Orleans – McKinley – East Franklin – East Orleans – Water or Court Street – PLEASE run your water- A SMALL PENCIL STREAM – to prevent freezing. CONTACT City Hall if you run your water – so that you get the proper credit on your utility bill. DO NOT STOP running your water until you have been notified by City Hall and we advise you to do so. Thank you. If you have questions, please call City Hall at 692-3391. PLEASE SHARE!!!”
