OTTAWA COUNTY, Mich. — Police are investigating over 80 larcenies and eight breaking and entering cases along the lakeshore dating back to late 2014.
The Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office said they have identified Alexander Michael Classen, 22, of Wright Township as one of the suspects. He was arrested in January and has since posted bail.
On January 14, deputies made a traffic stop in Northern Ottawa County and found evidence of stolen property in a vehicle.
Investigators said they found thousands of dollars worth of stolen merchandise and believe other suspects may be involved.
