More than 600 without power in Cooper Township after overnight outage

COOPER TOWNSHIP, Mich. — More than 600 homes are without power Sunday morning after a power line went down overnight.

Consumers energy is actively working to restore power to customers in the area after the lines were taken down as a result of severe weather.

Crews are expecting to have the necessary repairs in place and power restored around 11:00 a.m. Sunday.
