At 4:11 p.m., emergency personnel responded to a report of a person falling through the ice on Lake Macatawa in front of the Dunton Park boat launch. Paramedics arrived first at the scene and threw a rescue line to the boy. A Michigan Department of Natural Resources conservation officer then pulled him up through the ice and further onto the safe ice.
