HOLLAND TOWNSHIP, Mich.–Sheriff’s deputies are searching for a suspect they say robbed a man late Friday night.

It happened just before midnight outside the One Stop in the 600 block of 136th Ave. The Ottawa County Sheriff’s Department said a 30-year-old man was sitting in a car in the parking lot when an armed man forced his way inside.

The victim told officials he was forced to drive off with the suspect, but was let go a short time later. The suspect drove away, abandoning the car not far from the convenience store. The suspect was not found.

Deputies describe the suspect as a young black male, wearing a ski mask and carrying a handgun.
