EAST LANSING, Mich. — One person is dead and another is injured, after a shooting in downtown East Lansing.
Police at Michigan State University sent an alert, notifying the community that officers were looking for a vehicle that may have been involved. At this time, East Lansing Police are searching for two suspects.
The shooting happened at around midnight on Thursday in the Grove Street parking garage. When officers arrived, they located two victims. One man, identified as a 22-year-old from Lansing, did not survive. The second victim is expected to be okay.
Police are in the process of interviewing witnesses. If and when they get descriptions of the two suspects, they will pass those along.
