GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – Plans call for a new 12-story office building to be built at the corner of South Division and Weston in downtown Grand Rapids.
The Grand Rapids Preservation Commission reviewed the plan Wednesday. With the name of Twelve Weston, the development will be the first of its kind to be built in the heart of the city in more than 20 years.
Members from the development team’s architect, Lott3Metz Architecture, and contractor, Rockford Construction, were on hand for the commission meeting.
Ownership, a construction timeline and lead tenants will be announced in a few weeks.
The commission will have more discussion about the property in about 30 days.
