EAST LANSING, Mich. — East Lansing Police are investigating the death of a Michigan State University student who was found dead Thursday night.
The student, 21-year-old Anthony John Hawley of Bloomfield Hills, was found dead at a residence in the 500 block of of N. Hagadorn Road at about 10 p.m.
According to a release, Hawley’s roommate was performing CPR on him when emergency officials arrived on the scene. He was transported to the hospital and pronounced dead.
Police say there is no indication of foul play in Hawley’s death, but they believe drugs may have played a role. His official cause of death will be determined pending the results of an autopsy and toxicology report.
