Man, 57, dies after East Beltline crash

GRAND RAPIDS TOWNSHIP, Mich. — A 57-year-old man has died after being ejected from his vehicle during a crash Sunday.

Yum Buck Chin’s vehicle crashed on East Beltline Avenue north of Leonard at about 5 a.m.

According to Michigan State Police, Chin was not wearing a seat belt and was thrown from his vehicle after driving off the roadway and overturning.

He was transported to the hospital, and police announced Monday that he had passed away from his injuries.

No other vehicles were involved in the crash.
