NEW YORK — The estate of Joan Rivers filed a lawsuit Monday against the clinic that treated her before her death.
Rivers went into cardiac arrest during an outpatient endoscopy anddied at Mount Sinai hospitaldays later.
Attorneys for her estate say they want to make sure that the medical errors that they claim led to Rivers’ death do not happen to other patients.
Yorkville Endoscopy has denied any wrongdoing.
