GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Grand Rapids Police have located the vehicle they believe was involved in a hit-and-run that hospitalized a 4-year-old over the weekend, but are still looking for the driver and passenger.
According to a release, investigators discovered a 1998 green Buick at a residence in Walker after a witness to the crash called in the car’s license plate number.
The vehicle struck 4-year-old Gabriel,who is still in the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Family members tell FOX 17 that the boy’s sled gained speed while going down a slope in Richmond Hill Park Saturday, and veered off the hill onto Richmond Street.
The two occupants of the car are described as white males in their early 20s. No other descriptions were released.
