GANGES TOWNSHIP, Mich. — Emergency crews were called to a house fire Monday near 64th Street and 118th Avenue.
According to the Allegan County Sheriff’s Department, the fire was reported shortly after 12 p.m.
Officials said a small explosion was heard near the home during the fire. They believe the explosion was caused from a five gallon bucket of deck sealer.
Investigators say the fire started from an electrical outlet. No injuries have been reported, but the home is considered a total loss.
