THREE RIVERS, Mich. — Two police K9 Officers lead the charge in locating two burglary suspects early Friday.
Officers were originally dispatched to a burglary alarm at Tipple Creek convenience store. When they arrived, they found a front window broken out, and that suspects had indeed made entry into the store. Police K9 Jake traced the building and found that the suspects were no longer on scene.
After Jake’s assessment forced police to focus their investigation away from the convenience store, K9 Hondo was deployed to track the suspects. Hondo lead the officers to a home on Fifth St, leading police to believe the suspects were inside.
After making contact with the property owner, they located two suspects hiding inside. They also found some of the stolen merchandise, along with bags used to carry out the theft.
The two men are currently in custody.
