GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — A 6-week-old baby died Monday night, apparently due to medical issues.
The death is being investigated, however.
The Grand Rapids Police Department responded to a call that came in at 7:42 p.m. Monday. Upon arriving at the residence in the 3600 block of Camelot Drive SE, officers found a 6-week-old child that was unresponsive.
The baby later was declared dead.
Officers told FOX 17 NEWS that the death appeared to be medically related, not abuse related.
The death remains under investigation by GRPD.
