SOUTH HAVEN, Mich. — A 24 year-old male was arrested Saturday afternoon in connection with an armed robbery at a mobile phone & truck rental store on Broadway St.
At approximately 11:35 a.m. Saturday officers from the South Haven Police Department responded to a report of an armed robbery at the mobile phone location.
When the officers arrived, a suspect fled, and other departments were brought in to assist in responding. Only a short time later, the suspect was located and arrested. Police say that “evidence associated with the crime” was also seized from his person at the time of his arrest.
The suspect was taken into custody without incident or injury.
