PAW PAW, Mich. — As West Michigan’s Most Wanted continues honoring the men and women who go above and beyond the call of duty, this week’s Hero of the Week is Michigan State Police Trooper Daniel Mehari.
Mehari works out of the Paw Paw Post and was nominated by friend Priscilla Rubio, who says he served in the U.S. Marine Corps.
Mehari is a graduate of Potter’s House who now pays it forward working with urban kids.
Rubio says he is humble, selfless and compassionate, and is a true Hero of the Week.
