MUSKEGON, Mich. — Crews are working to extinguish a house fire Sunday afternoon in the 1500 Block of Park St.
According to witnesses on scene, the fire started around 9 a.m. and was initially put out by 11:45 a.m.- crews were called back to the scene around 12:20 p.m. to put out some “hot spots” that had re-ignited within the structure.
Several neighbors made note of the “overwhelming amount of thick smoke” that seemed to be filling the surrounding area.
