OTTAWA COUNTY, Mich. — A CVS Pharmacy in Holland Township received a bomb threat Wednesday afternoon.
The pharmacy at 132 Douglas Ave. received the threat by phone at 12:36 p.m. from an unknown male with a Middle Eastern accent. The caller said he wanted a green dot card activated and the number given to him. When employees denied the request, the caller said there was an explosive device in the building.
The business was immediately evacuated and the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office was contacted.
Other CVS stores have received similar threats in the past and management didn’t believe the threat was credible.
Deputies and CVS management searched the premises and nothing suspicious was located.
