GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Grand Rapids police said that a 68-year-old man was killed on Sunday inside his northwest Grand Rapids home.
Police responded to the home on 11th Street at about 2:30 p.m. on Sunday on reports of a man not breathing.
68-year-old Patrick Marvin Simmons was pronounced dead at the scene.
Officers said that there were signs of an assault inside the home, but wouldn’t release any further details.
Grand Rapids police have not said how the man was killed, and tell FOX 17 a medical examiner will make that determination.
After speaking with witnesses, a person who knows Simmons has been arrested related to the homicide. Investigators said they aren’t looking for anymore suspects related to the case.
