KALAMAZOO, Mich. — The Alamo Drafthouse theater in Kalamazoo will begin showingthe controversial comedy “The Interview”
on Dec. 26.
According to Alamo’s website, the Seth Rogen and James Franco comedy about a plot to assassinate North Korean dictator Kim Jong-Un will screen at 3:15 p.m., 6:40 p.m. and 10:15 p.m. Friday.
Sony initially canceled the release of “The Interview” after hackers warned moviegoers not to go to theaters where it was playing. Following that threat, most major theater chains in the country announced they would not release the film.
On Tuesday Sony announced that the movie would be showing in select theaters beginning on Christmas Day.
