KALAMAZOO COUNTY, Mich. — Crews are investigating a fire that left one man dead early Monday morning.
Firefighters got the call for a house fire located on S. 31st Street in Pavilion Township at around 3:00 a.m. When they arrived, heavy smoke and flames were visible.
It was believed that someone may have been inside at the time of the fire, and at around 6:20 a.m., crews recovered the body of a male victim.
It is unclear what led to the fire at this time.
