Big Rapids teen facing criminal sexual conduct charges

BIG RAPIDS, Mich. — An 18-year-old from Big Rapids is facing four counts of third-degree criminal sexual conduct.

According to a release from the Mecosta County Sheriff’s Department, Jason Giese was arraigned Thursday in 77th District Court.  The charges involve a 15-year-old girl from Big Rapids.

Giese was arrested Wednesday at a home on Mack Drive in Green Township and is currently being held on a $1,000,000 bond.

He is due back in court at 9 a.m. Nov. 25.
