Another day, another Winter Weather Advisory

WEST MICHIGAN — Our first Winter Storm of the season has come and gone but left behind a lot of snow around West Michigan. Many areas saw well over a foot of snow in just 24-hours but with that system coming to an end another Winter Weather Advisory has been issued as lake-effect snow continues.

The newest Winter Weather Advisory is in effect till Thursday morning at 7 AM as lake-effect snow will develop  and become heavy again. Snow could be heavy at times dropping visibility and creating hazardous road conditions. New snowfall accumulations of between 4 to 6 inches will be possible along the Lakeshore and west of US-131 through Thursday before a warm-up moves in for the weekend ending our snow chances but bringing in the chance for a wintry mix and even rain.

Stay tuned to FOX17 for the latest updates on your forecast and road conditions.
