MUSKEGON, Mich. -- A newborn infant was found dead Monday in the area of 347 Shonat Street, according to Muskegon Police.
"The victim, who was found lying on the ground, appeared to have been exposed to the elements for a period of time," a release from Muskegon Police says.
The body was reported at about 2:50 p.m. Officials are interviewing a person of interest, but no arrests have been made at this time.
