Woman arrested in sheriff’s office parking lot

VAN BUREN COUNTY, Mich. — Officers witnessed a female driver pull up to the sheriff’s opffice Friday around 4:00 p.m. to visit an inmate when a deputy immediately recognized the driver and knew she did not have a valid license.

The deputy made contact with the female in question to why she had driven to the sheriff’s office. She admitted she made a poor choice. She was then detained and issued a misdemeanor traffic citation for driving on a suspended license.
