Middle school teacher charged with taking inappropriate images in classroom

BERRIEN COUNTY, Mich. — A teacher at New Buffalo Middle School is facing up to 17 years behind bars after allegedly taking inappropriate images with his smartphone, according to the Berrien County Prosecutor’s Office.

Aaron Badger, 37, of Bridgman is charged with two counts of capturing/attempting to capture images of an unclothed person and/or their undergarments and one count of using a computer to commit a crime.

The alleged incidents happened in a middle school classroom on Sept. 19 and Oct. 3.

Badger is currently free on bond.  A pre-exam conference is scheduled Nov. 14 and a preliminary examination is scheduled for Nov. 18.
