KALAMAZOO, Mich. — The Kalamazoo Wings will honor the United States Military in their Saturday game against the Elmira Jackals at Wings Stadium. The K-Wings will be wearing special uniforms to help raise awareness and support for the Talons Out Honor Flight, a non-profit organization that flies World War II Veterans to Washington, D.C. at no cost.
The K-Wings begin a two-game set against the Jackals in Kalamazoo starting tonight. Friday’s game is the K-Wings second annual Van Andel Institute Purple Game.
Both Friday and Saturday’s contests begin at 7:30 p.m. at Wings Stadium.
