MUSKEGON HEIGHTS, Mich. — Two people were taken to the hospital Wednesday after being shot in Muskegon Heights.
The shootings happened along Summit Avenue near 5th Street, according to a Muskegon Heights councilman.
Councilman Eddie Jenkins III said Muskegon Heights police told him that one person was shot in the chest and buttocks, and another victim was shot in the leg.
Police did not respond when FOX 17 attempted to contact them.
The victims’ conditions are unknown at this time.
