Shooting victim shows up at police station with critical injuries

KALAMAZOO, Mich. — A man showed up at a Kalamazoo Public Safety station Monday with life-threatening gunshot wounds.

According to police, the man arrived at the station in the 1200 block of James Street at about 10:09 p.m.  Upon further investigation, it was determined he had been shot in the torso near Peter Pan Park (Southside Park) on Palmer Ave.  He was taken to the hospital and is currently listed in critical condition.

There are no suspects in custody at this time.
