KALAMAZOO, Mich.–Two men were shot in Kalamazoo early Saturday morning by an unknown suspect.
Kalamazoo Public Safety officers said they responded to a report of shots fired in a parking lot on W. Michigan Ave. around 1 a.m.
They said an unknown suspect fired a gun after an altercation between several people.
A 20-year-old man was shot in the chest and is in stable condition at Bronson Hospital. The second victim, 22, was shot in the arm–he was treated and released from the same hospital.
Public Safety said neither of the victims are students at Western Michigan University or Kalamazoo Valley Community College.
