CONVIS TOWNSHIP, Mich.–A woman was injured in a car crash early Sunday morning.
Calhoun County authorities said a woman was driving south on Junction Road in Convis Township when she swerved to avoid a deer in the road. She struck an embankment, and then was ejected from the car.
The driver was taken to a Kalamazoo hospital.
