MUSKEGON, Mich.– Two people were shot in Muskegon Friday night, according to city police.
Officers say a 43-year-old man from Norton Shores was shot once in his side near the area of Peck St. and Irwin Ave. just after 9 p.m. As of this writing, the man is in surgery at Hackley Hospital and his condition is unknown.
The second victim arrived at the hospital’s emergency room with a gunshot wound in his lower leg.
Police said there is no information on a possible suspect. The investigation is ongoing.
