WYOMING, Mich.– A 16-year-old boy, who went to Crossroads High School, is dead after getting hit by a pickup truck, that’s according to the Wyoming Police Department.
Family has identifed the victim as 16-year-old Leighton Doyle.
Investigators said Doyle was walking home from work at Subway when he was hit Friday night.
They said he crossed the road into the path of a full size extended cab pickup truck on 54th Street. They said he didn’t use a designated crosswalk.
The accident remains under investigation by the Wyoming Police Department.
