PIPESTONE TOWNSHIP, Mich. — The Berrien County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a suspicious death after a body was discovered in a Pipestone Township home Friday.
According to a release, deputies received a call from a family member at about 8:22 a.m. saying that the person was missing.
Investigators then discovered the person’s body inside a home in the 2000 block of Fairview Road. The person was not identified and their cause of death is unknown at this time.
An autopsy will be performed in the next few days, officials said.
