Posted

WHITE PIGEON TOWNSHIP, Mich.– Police are asking for your help in finding a suspect involved in a motorcycle chase that happened Friday night.

According to the Michigan State Police, at around 10 pm last night, they tried to pullover a motorcyclist for a defective equipment violation, including a car headlight bungeed to the front of the bike, an open alcohol container strapped to the handle bars, and an expired license plate.

The driver of the motorcycle did not stop, and sped away. Police chased the suspect on Crooked Creek Road until he crashed in a field near US 12. He took off on foot, police unable to track him down.

Upon further investigation, police believe drugs also played a factor in the chase. Police describe him as a white male, about 5’10, 170 pounds, wearing tennis shoes and a black Carhartt hooded jacket.

If you know anything about this, call the Michigan State Police.
