HOLLAND TOWNSHIP, Mich. -- Michigan State Police have identified two people found dead on Sunday. The discoveries were made more than 100 miles apart.

Gary Volkers, 59, was found dead in Osceola County around 1:45 p.m., according to police.

Evidence at the scene led them to a Holland Township condo where his daughter, 31-year-old Stacey Grotenhuis, was found dead around 8 p.m. Her death is being investigated as a homicide. Volkers death is being called suspicious at this point.

The Michigan State Police are investigating the death of a 31-year-old woman in Holland Township.

She was found dead in her home Sunday night at Crystal Waters Condominiums, according to Lieutenant Christopher McIntire. The lieutenant said they discovered her body after finding another person dead.

Sunday afternoon, the body of a 51-year-old man was discovered near his vehicle in Leroy Township.

Again, evidence from the Leroy Township scene led police to the 31-year-old in Holland Township.
