KENNER, La. – Two Destrehan High School English teachers are facing felony charges after allegedly having a threesome with a 16-year-old student.
Shelley S. Dufresne, 2, and Rachel Respess, 24, are facing charges of carnal knowledge of a juvenile, contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile and indecent behavior with a juvenile.
Kenner Police Chief Michael Glaser tells WGNO that the two teachers met with the student after a football game Sept. 12, drove to Respess’ apartment and had sex until the early morning hours of Sept. 13.
“Nothing surprises me anymore really, but I do believe it’s lack of a better judgment. They should have known better,” Chief Glaser said.
