OSHTEMO TOWNSHIP, Mich. – The Kalamazoo County Sheriff’s Department was called to investigate an armed robbery at an EZ Mart convenience store located on 8469 Stadium Drive on Sunday.
A description of the suspect and the suspect vehicle was then given to officials. The weapon used was a hand gun.
Two hours later the Kalamazoo Public Safety Department responded to an armed robbery at a McDonald’s restaurant located at 3320 S Westnedge.
The description of the suspect and suspect vehicle was the same as the first robbery.
The Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety located the suspect vehicle, and after a traffic stop a 55-year-old man has been taken into custody.
