HOLLAND TOWNSHIP, Mich.- One person is recovering at a local Holland Hospital after a four vehicle crash last night in Holland Township.
According to the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Department, the crash happened around 9 p.m. Friday night at the intersection of Riley St. and U.S. 31. Deputies state that a motorcycle driven by 17-year-old Anthony Lai of Zeeland, was stopped at a red light when a 2006 Buick Lacrosse driven by Randall Jacobusse hit the back of the motorcycle.
The crash sent the motorcycle into the rear of a 2003 Ford Taurus which then struck a 2006 Ford Focus.
Lai was wearing his helmet at the time of the crash and is listed in stable condition at Holland Hospital.
Deputies state that Jacobusse was arrested at the scene and was taken to the Ottawa County Jail on an undisclosed misdemeanor charge.
