Battle Creek Drug Bust: 160 marijuana plants, and 3 guns confiscated

BATTLE CREEK, Mich. — Over 160 marijuana plants and three firearms were confiscated by police in two unrelated searches Friday.

The Battle Creek Gang Unit and Special Investigations Unit responded to a tip they received about a marijuana operation and went to a residence in the 200 block of Meachem Avenue.

While at the residence, more than 40 marijuana plants were seized.

In an unrelated search, the same units executed a search warrant in the 100 block of Post Avenue. During this search, more than 120 marijuana plants were seized, as well as three firearms.

Both cases remain under investigation, and charges will be sought at a later date.
