WATERVLIET TOWNSHIP, Mich. — A Watervliet woman was killed Tuesday morning after a two-car crash on M140 south of Dwight Boyer Road.
According to the Berrien County Sheriff’s Office, the crash happened just before 7 a.m. when Heather Eichel lost control of her vehicle and crossed the center line.
She was pronounced dead at the scene. Deputies say she was not wearing a seatbelt.
The other driver was treated and released at the scene. The crash remains under investigation.
