Kalamazoo football coach dies after collapsing at school

KALAMAZOO, Mich.  — A Kalamazoo football coach died Wednesday after collapsing at the Maple Street Magnet School for the Arts.

According to a district spokesperson, Darryl Bradford collapsed at the school, prompting a lockdown while personnel responded to the incident.

Grief counselors will be at the school Thursday.

According to MLive, Bradford was the head football coach at the middle school.
