GRAND RAPIDS, Mich.- A person is in a Grand Rapids hospital after being stabbed Saturday morning near a party store.
According to the Grand Rapids Police Department, the stabbing was reported in the 2000 block of S. Division near Burton Street SW, around 9:30 a.m. Saturday morning. The person was found behind Rau’s Party Store with a stab wound to their chest.
Officers state, the person sustained serious injuries.
Officers did take a suspect into custody Saturday morning.
This incident remains under investigation.
