Your artwork could turn into the next Tulip Time poster!

HOLLAND, Mich. — Tulip Time and the Holland Area Arts Council have teamed up and announced the fifth annual competition to determine the image for the festival’s 2015 poster.

It’s called the Art in Bloom Poster Competition and artists are invited to submit their entries which will be judged by Steve Nelson, associate professor of art at Hope College. Local artists will have until October 15 to submit their pieces for the contest.

The winner will be announced at First Bloom, which is a special unveiling reception that will be held in February. In addition, beginning May 2 – 8, 2015, designs from the 19 finalists will be on display at the Holland Area Arts Council, where the public can vote for their favorite as part of the Viewer’s Choice Awards.

Tulip Time 2015 runs May 2-9.
