MECOSTA CO., Mich.– Two people are injured after a crash but a child in that vehicle was not hurt, that’s according to the Mecosta County Sheriff’s Office.
It happened Saturday night on US 131 near Jefferson Road.
Deputies said the driver, a 25-year-old man from Grand Rapids, lost control and plowed into construction barrels. They said the impact caused the vehicle to go off the highway and hit an embankment. The vehicle then rolled over several times.
The driver and his passenger, a 20-year-old woman from Kentwood, were taken to the hospital with minor injures. Their 2-year-old child was not injured.
