GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Police are trying to locate an armed suspect who robbed a local hotel early Friday morning.
It happened at the Knights Inn hotel on Plainfield Avenue, just off of the I-96 ramps. Police say the suspect robbed the clerk at the front desk for an unknown amount of money and then ran off.
Officers brought in a K-9 unit to attempt a track, but lost the trail not far from the scene. This leads police to believe the suspect got in a car.
Detectives are reviewing surveillance footage to get a better look at the suspect. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Grand Rapids Police Department.
