KENTWOOD, Mich. — The Grand Cocktail competition may be over but the “Peoples choice winner” from Firerock Grille is still mixing up her creations.
Melissa Dembny of the Firerock Grille specializes in, infusion cocktails. Meaning she mixes fresh fruit with unflavored liquors and lets them sit and soak.
Dembny is in her 2nd year of the city wide competition and has placed well both years. Her summer cocktail, “Cherry ginger fizz” was a huge hit. She taught us her secret and how to make the creation on your own.
