HOLLAND TOWNSHIP, Mich. — A 28-year-old man was arrested Sunday after allegedly firing shots outside Value Place, 2630 Van Ommen Drive.

According to Ottawa County deputies, the man fired shots at a 24-year-old woman after an early morning argument.  She was not injured in the shooting.

Investigators said they tracked the suspect to a home in the 1200 block of 136th Avenue.   He allegedly fled out the back door and was located in a nearby tree by a police dog.

The dog also located the gun used in the shooting, deputies said.

The suspect is currently lodged in the Ottawa County jail and will be identified pending formal arraignment.
